The selection process is finally over!
Participants were selected after a joint call launched by project partners in Italy, Bulgaria, Slovenia and Portugal. Out of 87 applicants, we selected 65 profiles.

The Erasmus + MESIS project aims to foster inclusive sport communities by developing competencies and e-learning tools based on the Outsport approach.
As part of the core project activities, four partners from Italy, Bulgaria, Portugal and Slovenia will select 15 participants (60 in total) who will join a comprehensive Capacity Building session designed to build knowledge and competencies for coaches and PE teachers in the field of Education Through Sport and LGBTI issues.

The main objective was to boost their competences while co-designing the process of the next three Capacity Building Sessions scheduled for 2024, which will select and involve 60 coaches and PE teachers in cooperation with schools, sports associations and local authorities from Bulgaria, Slovenia, Italy and Portugal.

The overall goal of the project is to promote inclusion and participation of all genders and sexualities in European grassroots sports. This requires an understanding of how athletes are still excluded from sport due to a prevailing binary gender norm.
