Andrea is a Project Officer at the Outsport Office within the AiCS LGBTI Department and a contributor to AiCS’ Identità Alias gender inclusion policy (2024). Their work focuses on diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI), LGBTIQ+ rights, human rights, and the role of public and digital spaces in fostering access, safety, and participation. Andrea has worked in non-formal education and training contexts, including with neurodivergent youth, and as an author and research assistant has developed advocacy-oriented content for a range of publications and organisations.

Learn how to create inclusive communities with the Outsport method.

The Erasmus + MESIS project aims to foster inclusive sport communities by developing competencies and e-learning tools based on the Outsport approach.

As part of the core project activities, four partners from Italy, Bulgaria, Portugal and Slovenia will select 15 participants (60 in total) who will join a comprehensive Capacity Building session designed to build knowledge and competencies for coaches and PE teachers in the field of Education Through Sport and LGBTI issues.

The E+ Project SGS – Sport for all Genders and Sexualities just launched the Rising Together Campaign for the EU week of Sport  2023

The campaign will be launched for the European Week of Sport with social media actions and stories from transgender, intersex athletes and allies in sports, in 4 different languages. It strives to emphasize the fact that every individual has the fundamental right to engage in sports, irrespective of their gender identity or sexual orientation.
