  • Empowering learners to confidently address SOGIESC based discrimination.
  • Mastering the Outsport Competence Framework based on the core values of Dignity, Equal Opportunities, Diversity and Community Building.
  • Understanding how to create more inclusive sporting environments, learning communities and team-working spaces.
  • Building confidence and ability to propose a set of exercises for the final target groups – whether youth, students, athletes or work teams.

“Outsport Coach – Building LGBTQIA+ Inclusion Through Sport” is part of the Erasmus+ project MESIS.

Gain essential skills to foster LGBTQIA+ inclusive communities through sport and prevent any form of discrimination. You will implement the Outsport method and use pedagogical tools within the “Education Through Sport” (ETS) framework.

Building on the success of the Outsport project, endorsed by the EU Commission and the World Health Organisation, this e-learning course is inspired by the Council of Europe’s Compass Manual and aims to develop key competences in non-formal Human Rights Education.

This course is ideal for Coaches, Physical Education (PE) teachers, Childhood and Youth Educators, Youth Workers, Team Building and Diversity Consultants. It supports everyone committed to improving group dynamics.

The Outsport Coach focuses on fostering safer spaces, tackling SOGIESC discrimination, and driving sustainable social change in and through sport.
